Shane Robinson impressed manager Paul Molitor when the Twins centerfielder made a diving catch for the 27th and final out of Wednesday's 13-0 blowout victory over Oakland.
With the game well in hand, Robinson stayed attentive and got a jump on Josh Phegley's fly ball to the right-center field gap. Robinson had to be alert because he was shaded to left-center when the ball was hit hard.
"He tracked it almost perfectly," Molitor said. "It was a little behind him but athletically he closed on it to make the catch. It was, I thought, a phenomenal catch.
