MILWAUKEE -- The Twins are running out of options to get injured starting pitcher Ricky Nolasco back on the mound.
The right-hander had another setback with his right ankle Friday after throwing at Target Field. Despite wearing orthotic inserts designed to help him drive off the pitching rubber Nolasco shut down his bullpen session because of continued pain.
"It did not go well," manager Paul Molitor lamented. "We just can't seem to find the solution to get him coming back in the right direction."
