Twins' Oswaldo Arcia leaves game with hip injury

Twins left fielder Oswaldo Arcia was removed from Sunday's game with irritation in his right hip.

Arcia suffered the injury during a four-run Twins fourth while leaving the batter's box on a single to right. He hobbled his way to first before being replaced by pinch runner Jordan Schafer.

Arcia, who is day to day, reached safely in all three plate appearances while making a rare start against a left-handed starter (John Danks).

Arcia was hit on the right shoulder with a pitch his first time up and singled in the seven-run third.

BRIEFLY

-- While reliever Caleb Thielbar reported to Triple-A Rochester on Sunday and pitched in relief, fellow left-hander Tommy Milone was scheduled to meet the team in Indianapolis on Monday.
