The Twins and right-handed reliever Kevin Jepsen have agreed on a one-year, $5.3 million deal, the team announced Friday.
Jepsen, 31, was 1-1 with a 1.61 earned-run average in 29 appearances in 2015 after being acquired near the trade deadline in July. He is the fifth of the Twins' six arbitration-eligible players to agree to a deal, leaving third baseman Trevor Plouffe.
Plouffe, 29, hit .244 with 22 home runs and a team-leading 86 runs batted in last season.
Also Friday, the Twins claimed left-handed pitcher Mike Strong off waivers from the Miami Marlins.
Strong, 27, is a graduate of Stillwater High School from Afton.
