Twins fall 4 outs shy of no-hitter in win over O's

BALTIMORE -- The Twins launched three homers and starter Kyle Gibson didn't allow a hit over six innings as Minnesota picked up its first win of the season, a 6-2 victory over the Orioles on Saturday night.

Gibson walked five and threw 102 pitches, so he wasn't able to extend his no-hitter past six innings. But the righty, who had a fantastic second half in 2017, showed no signs of slowing down in his season debut. Gibson struck out six and now has won seven consecutive decisions dating back to last season.
