ST. LOUIS -- Twins right-hander Ervin Santana, nearing the end of an 80-game steroid suspension, was scheduled to work five innings or 75 pitches on Monday in his final extended spring training game in Fort Myers, Fla.
From there, Santana will ship out to Triple-A Rochester, where he will make the first of three rehab starts on Saturday at Frontier Field against Louisville. He is due to throw six innings or about 90 pitches.
On June 25 at Triple-A Pawtucket, Santana will increase his workload to 100 pitches, followed by 95 to 105 pitches back in Rochester, N.
