For the first time since he drew a steroids suspension 2-1/2 months ago, Ervin Santana has addressed the media.
The Twins right-hander did so on Thursday after reporting to Triple-A Rochester, where he will make three rehab starts in advance of his July 5 return at Kansas City. In a video clip at the web site of the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle, the 32-year-old veteran appeared nervous and contrite -- to a point.
Asked how difficult it has been for him to be down in Florida while missing the first 80 games of the regular season, Santana brushed aside the question.
