Nearly a month has passed since Twins setup man Casey Fien last recorded an out in a major league game.
In the meantime, journeyman Blaine Boyer seems to have put down roots in the eighth inning. That won't necessarily change upon Fien's impending return, at least not initially.
"I like what Boyer's done," Twins manager Paul Molitor said Wednesday morning. "I think everyone has a lot of confidence when he's in the game late right now. Not to say that can't change.
"I guess if I had to say right now, in the short term, most likely Fien would precede Boyer in a ballgame.
