The fact that Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa beat Byron Buxton to the major leagues by six days this June wasn't lost on the Twins' young center fielder.
"I saw when he got called up," Buxton said as the two prepared to occupy the same field for the first time in the majors. "I watched a little bit of his game after our game got over."
