Twins outfielder Aaron Hicks hopes to rejoin the club after a short stint rehabbing his strained left hamstring in Triple A-Rochester starting this weekend.
Hicks, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list on Aug. 19, said he was scheduled to travel to Rochester on Saturday night.
After returning in July from his last stretch on the DL, Hicks was hitting .293 with five doubles, two triples and seven home runs and 22 runs batted in.
"September is coming around, so I get to go there, get some swings in and hopefully catch the team on the road," Hicks said.
