Torii moves up, but Twins need All-Star votes

Entering Monday, the Twins had best record in the American League by percentage points and were leading the AL Central by a game. Seven members of the second-place Royals found themselves on track to start the All-Star Game, but notable Twins such as second baseman Brian Dozier and first baseman Joe Mauer are not.

Fans can cast their votes for starters at MLB.com and all 30 club sites -- on their computers, tablets and smartphones -- using the 2015 Esurance MLB All-Star Game Ballot until Thursday, July 2, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
