Twins outfielder Torii Hunter is no stranger to controversy, and he stirred up a new batch Saturday night by coming to the defense of boxing champ Floyd Mayweather.
Mayweather is set to fight Manny Pacquiao later Saturday night in the latest "Fight of the Century" in Las Vegas, and there was as much prefight talk about Mayweather's history of domestic violence as there was about his fighting skills.
Mayweather has been convicted on domestic violence charges five times in the past 14 years, but the Twins star went on Twitter to say that has nothing to do with the big fight.
