The first two rounds of the 2015 first-year player draft is complete. The Minnesota Twins selected left-handed pitcher, Tyler Jay with the sixth overall pick and right-handed pitcher, Kyle Cody with their second round pick.
Jay, out of the University of Illinois was ranked as the number nine prospect by MLB.com. This season he made 30 appearances, going 5-2 with an impressive 1.08 earned run average. He made only two starts during his three year career at Illinois, both starts coming this season.
