Suddenly with options, Twins waiting to solidify rotation

The Twins have a logjam in their rotation but are hedging their bets against potential setbacks before shaping their weekend assignments.

Trevor May will pitch Thursday against the Chicago White Sox, followed by Kyle Gibson Friday, with both right-handers maintaining their scheduled spots, according to manager Paul Molitor.

May threw his regular bullpen session on Tuesday and is fine after being drilled in the throwing elbow by a Kyle Seager line drive Saturday at Seattle.

"May did well today; no issues," Molitor said.

Meanwhile, Ricky Nolasco is eligible to come off the disabled list following a successful rehab start Sunday at Class A Cedar Rapids.
