Free-agent slugger Logan Morrison and the Twins have reached a deal, a source confirmed to MLB.com's Jon Paul Morosi on Sunday.
Morosi reports the deal is a one-year agreement worth $6.5 million. Morrison can make up to $16.5 million over two years with incentives and a vesting option, per Morosi.
The club has not yet confirmed the agreement. ESPN's Jerry Crasnick was first to report the two sides were close to a contract.
Morrison, 30, crushed a career-high 38 home runs in 2017 with the Rays. He batted .246/.353/.516 with 85 RBIs in 149 games, setting a personal best with an .
