Sano's 3-run homer caps 8-run Twins rally

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Twins used a trio of homers, including a pivotal three-run homer from Miguel Sano in the seventh inning to help them erase an 8-0 deficit against the Indians on Thursday night at Target Field.

The Twins entered the seventh down by four runs, but made it a three-run game with an RBI single from Eddie Rosario. Hard-throwing right-hander Zach McAllister was brought in to face Sano with one out, and he delivered a three-run opposite-field blast on a 97.1-mph fastball to tie the game. It was a moonshot, as it had a launch angle of 39 degrees, while leaving the bat at 103 mph and traveling a projected 360 feet, per Statcast™.
