Sano holds steady lead at 3B on AL ballot

Sano has paced the AL at third base ever since trailing Machado in the first official update. He has a team-best 16 homers and 48 RBIs, to go along with his .559 slugging percentage. Per Fangraphs, his wRC+ (weighted runs created) of 147 is the 17th-best mark in all of baseball. Sano has also been MLB's hardest hitter with an average exit velocity of 96 mph, according to Statcast™

No other Minnesota player is represented in the ballot for the fourth time in as many weeks.
