The Angels returned Rule 5 Draft selection Luke Bard to the Twins on Friday, and he'll report to Triple-A Rochester.
Bard was selected by Los Angeles with the 12th pick in the 2017 Rule 5 Draft. He pitched in eight games with the Angels this season, allowing 10 hits and seven runs in 11 2/3 innings (5.40 ERA). He was designated for assignment last week, and as a Rule 5 draftee, he had to be offered back to his original organization for $50,000.
Bard, 27, was a first-round Draft selection of the Twins in 2012 (42nd overall).
