CLEVELAND -- Twins left fielder Eddie Rosario left Thursday's game against the Indians at Progressive Field in the fifth inning with a right quad strain he sustained while running to first base in the fourth.
Rosario singled off right-hander Mike Clevinger with one out in the fourth and was immediately looked at by manager Paul Molitor and trainer Tony Leo. Rosario remained in the game, but didn't run the bases, as the next two batters struck out to end the inning.
But when the Twins took the field for the bottom of the fifth, Robbie Grossman had taken over in left field.
