MINNEAPOLIS -- Eddie Rosario isn't letting the nagging shoulder injury that kept him him out of Thursday's lineup hold him back this weekend.
Rosario launched a two-run homer in the first inning of the Twins' Saturday matchup with the Rangers to give Minnesota an early lead. It was Rosario's 17th long ball of the season.
Rosario's 354-foot shot left his bat at 97.7 mph, according to Statcast™, and sailed over the right-field wall.
The 26-year-old outfielder is now sitting just outside the American League top 10 in homers -- Rangers outfielder Joey Gallo and Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton were tied for 10th at 18 apiece coming into Saturday.
