When the Minnesota Twins opened Target Field for the 2010 season, there were plenty of novelties that surrounded its debut. With the Twins playing outside for the first time since their move from Metropolitan Stadium to the Metrodome in 1981, there was no shortage of festivities which included an “Old Timers Game.”
After Kent Hrbek put a massive crater just beyond the first baseline during the first installment, the Twins haven’t had a sequel to this heart-stopping affair since that 2010 iteration. There is a chance that it could be making a return for 2020, however.
