CHICAGO -- You might say the Twins have become overly reliant on the solo homer in recent days.

Fortunately, the quality of their pitching has been good enough to keep the wins coming.

Three more solo homers, two by previously slumping third baseman Trevor Plouffe, lifted the Twins to a 6-2 win over the Chicago White Sox on Friday night at U.S. Cellular Field.

Going back to Tuesday in Kansas City, the Twins had managed just seven total runs in a span of 28 innings.
