MINNEAPOLIS -- Twins third baseman Trevor Plouffe exited Sunday's 3-2 walk-off win against the Angels in the 11th inning after suffering a strained right intercostal muscle. He's day to day.
Plouffe initially sustained the injury on a swing during the sixth inning, but he remained in the game. Plouffe, who had an RBI double in the fourth, singled in both the sixth and eighth innings, and drew a leadoff walk in the 10th, going 3-for-4 on the day.
