Oswaldo Arcia's recent improved play at Class AAA Rochester has drawn the attention of the Twins. Before Saturday, Arcia had six home runs and 13 RBIs in his last nine games, albeit with only one multi-hit game.
"I'm happy he's doing well," Twins manager Paul Molitor said. 'At-bats are getting more consistent. Power is coming around. Still having trouble with left-handed pitching."
Outfielder Arcia was sent to the Red Wings after coming off the disabled list for a strained right hip flexor in late May. He had a cold start in Rochester with nine strikeouts and two hits in his first seven games.
