The Minnesota Twins head into the final week of the first half needing a break. While they received a much needed day off on Monday, the Twins are banged up, battered and coming off dropping two of three games to the Chicago White Sox last weekend.
As is the case with baseball, the grind goes on even as a four-day break can be seen on the horizon. After dropping last weekend’s series, the Twins will head west for a stiff challenge against the Oakland Athletics.
The A’s have been inconsistent this season, but they have the talent to be a contender in the American League.
