Twins right-hander Trevor May threw long toss before Monday's game against Detroit and is confident he will be able to make his next start, wherever that might be.
May was drilled in the throwing elbow by a Kyle Seager line drive and had to leave during the fourth inning of
Saturday's game at Seattle.
"No problems," he said. "I'm actually blown away by how quickly any pain went away. At this point, it feels like I banged it against a door.
"I freaked out a little bit," May added. "You don't want to get hit in your pitching arm ever or anywhere.
