The Minnesota Twins’ acquisition of Sam Dyson hasn’t gone well. After being their final move in advance of the trade deadline, Dyson has been a major disappointment despite appearing in just two games since coming over from San Francisco. Six runs in 2/3 of an inning will do that for you, but a sudden trip to the injured list had Twins wondering if the Minnesota front office had done its research prior to making the trade.
According to Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com, the Twins did do their research of Dyson before the deadline, but not even the Giants knew about the shoulder injury that would put him on the shelf on Aug.
