At long last, the Ricky Nolasco Plan has been revealed.
The Twins' No. 2 starter will come off the disabled list Saturday and face the Chicago White Sox in his first big-league start since April 8.
Nolasco, who had been out with an inflamed throwing elbow, came through Sunday's 67-pitch rehab outing at Class A Cedar Rapids with no issues. He also threw a bullpen session Tuesday with no problems.
"After much discussion, we feel he is ready to perform at this level," Twins manager Paul Molitor said. "We're looking forward to having him back."
Nolasco should have 80 to 85 pitches or so to work with his first time back, Molitor said.
