Twins right-hander Ricky Nolasco had no issues after throwing a bullpen on Sunday morning at Target Field and is set to go out on a minor-league rehab assignment, Twins general manager Terry Ryan said on the team's radio broadcast.
Nolasco, who landed on the 15-day disabled list with elbow inflammation after making his only start of the season on April 8 at Detroit, had a fruitful rehab stint at Class A Cedar Rapids last August.
The Kernels, however, are on the road this week until returning home Friday, the first day Nolasco would be eligible to come off the DL.
