The Minnesota Twins lost right hander Zach Jones to the Milwaukee Brewers this past offseason in the Rule 5 draft.
Today, however, the Brewers opted not to keep Jones and have offered him back to the Twins for the standard sum of $25, 000.
Players selected in the Rule 5 draft must remain on the 25 man roster of the team that selected them for the entirety of the subsequent year.
If the team wishes to remove the player from their active roster, they must offer him back to his original team for $25, 000.
