The temperature ranged somewhere between the high 60’s and into the 70’s throughout the Minnesota Twins day game victory on Thursday afternoon. It was get-away day for the Kansas City Royals which trigged yet another day game and another lackluster crowd at Target Field.
The smallest crowd in Target Field history. This is the sixth year in the ball park and it still feels fresh in my mind.
The run of day games might affect the amount of people with the ability to play hooky, but a gracious 17,449 is an impressively low number for this early in the season.
