After a bad series against the Cleveland Indians, the Minnesota Twins lack of pitching depth was exposed again. Monday night the team looked to bolster their pitching staff with the signing of Dillon Gee to a minor league deal as reported by Jon Heyman.
The first connection was made earlier in the night by Darren Wolfson:
Hear that the #MNTwins are in talks with FA pitcher Dillon Gee. He can help the big league team after some time in Roch… if it gets done.

Gee has spent most of his career with the New York Mets, but also saw time with the Kansas City Royals and most recently the Texas Rangers.
