The Minnesota Twins got back in the win column with a convincing 8-2 victory over the Boston Red Sox at JetBlue Park. Ervin Santana started for the Twins and had an excellent outing. He didn’t allow a hit, walk or a run. He struck out 3 in 3 perfect innings of work.
The Red Sox’ ace didn’t fare nearly as well. David Price was knocked around by the Twins in the second and was lucky to escape with only two earned runs. The Twins sent 2 solo shots into the seats and added two doubles off Price.
