The Minnesota Twins are 10-28 after after yesterday’s loss. It’s hard to believe but things just keep finding ways to get worse. No lead ever seems safe and any fleeting moment of success seems due to come crashing down.
That was the form of yesterday’s game. Up until the 7th inning, the Twins were cruising along but then came the meltdown.
Phil Hughes got the start for Minnesota. He had been quite terrible in his past few starts but yesterday was a complete turn around for him.
Phil pitched into the 7th and allowed one earned run.
