The Minnesota Twins are now 18-10 on the spring with a 4-3 win over the Blue Jays this afternoon.
The Blue Jays didn’t have a single regular in their lineup today.
Ervin Santana started for the Twins and didn’t have much trouble with Toronto’s minor league hitters until the 5th inning.
Santana allowed 6 hits, 3 earned runs, 2 walks, and struck out 3 in 4.1 innings. In the 5th inning, Santana gave up 4 straight singles. Paul Molitor determined that even though Santana had plenty left in the tank, he had put enough work in.
