Twins shortstop Danny Santana was out on the field Friday afternoon with Twins manager Paul Molitor and first-base coach Butch Davis.
The focus of their 30-minute session: bunting for base hits.
"It was better," Molitor said. "We worked on a couple little mechanical things that seemed to give him a little more confidence in what he was doing. Those things are never fixed in one day. We were joking. It was kind of the Carnegie Hall thing. How do you get to Carnegie Hall? The practice thing."
The switch-hitting Santana leads the Twins with four of their 17 bunt base hits this season.
