Minnesota Twins: Danny Santana Traded to the Atlanta Braves

The Minnesota Twins acquired Kevin Chapman, a left handed pitcher, along with cash considerations from the Atlanta Braves in exchange for Danny Santana. Santana had been designated for assignment on May 5th when the Twins reinstated Ehire Adrianza from the 10-day disabled list.

Danny Santana was never able to replicate the numbers he put up his rookie year. As a rookie he batted .319/.353/.472 with 70 runs scored and twenty stolen bases. Santana was the ultimate utility man as he could play infield as well as outfield.

Danny had struggled the past three seasons never batting above .
