Danny Santana was still playing center field when the Twins went to Toronto last June, so this weekend has been the first real chance Jose Reyes has had to watch Santana play shortstop in the majors.
Heading into Sunday's series finale, Santana had handled all seven chances without issue and extended his streak to just one error in his past 20 games.
"Last year he did a very good job playing center field," said Reyes, a four-time all-star now playing shortstop for the Toronto Blue Jays. "Seeing him back at his natural position, he looks comfortable. You want to play the position you grew up playing.
