In a short two-game series with the Braves, the Minnesota Twins pitching and hitting could not get in sync as one would perform when the other one wasn’t allowing the Braves to win both games.
On Tuesday, Ervin Santana pitched a complete game and allowed seven hits and two earned runs while striking out five.
It wasn’t enough, however as he was the tough-luck loser, 2-0.
On the next night Tyler Duffey continued to struggle, going just 1 1/3 innings allowing eight hits and five runs.
Duffey’s ERA on the season is now 6.
