The Minnesota Twins have had a carousel at the back end of their bullpen in recent weeks. Because of the constant shuffling, the Twins have had to take some risks as to who they call up and whether they can sneak each pitcher through waivers so they can be called up again.
With several pitchers making weekly charter flights from Triple-A Rochester to Minneapolis these days, it may have been a matter of time until they couldn’t bring someone back. In this case, the Twins couldn’t bring back Ryan Eades as he was claimed by the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday afternoon according to Roch Kubatko of MASN.
