The Minnesota Twins are finally giving up on the idea of letting Addison Reed work through whatever exactly has been hindering his performances. Reed hit the disabled list Wednesday with what the Twins are calling right forearm tightness. The Twins will turn to Alan Busenitz in Reed’s absence.
It has been a tough season for Reed as his performance struggles already led to a week off from pitching in June. Now here a couple of weeks into July he is landing on the disabled list for the first time in his career.
