The Minnesota Twins are having a rough time on the field these days, but they’re at least trying to gear up for a potential postseason push. With Byron Buxton out of the lineup for the foreseeable future, the Twins added outfielder Ian Miller in a trade with the Seattle Mariners on Friday night.
The compensation toward the Mariners was not disclosed, but it’s likely not a large return according to Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times.
Because Miller is not on an MLB deal or has been on a 40-man roster this season, he is eligible to be traded past the July 31 trade deadline.
