Coming off a 12-inning setback against the Detroit Tigers, Twins general manager Terry Ryan was asked how he thought his club would respond with the Los Angeles Angels hitting town for four games.
"I'd like to think we'll bounce back here," Ryan said before Thursday's game. "They've always been able to bounce back. They've shown that trait this year -- many times. Every time you think we're heading in the wrong direction, we regroup."
After falling 11-8 to the Angels at Target Field and suffering their third straight loss, the Twins definitely need to regroup once more -- and fast.
