Miguel Sano fastest Twin/Senator to reach 10 homers

BALTIMORE -- Miguel Sano reached 10 career home runs faster than any other rookie to break in with the franchise, Twins or Washington Senators, according to ESPN's research department.

Sano, 22, achieved the milestone on Thursday in his 41st career game in the majors.

"He's comfortable," Twins manager Paul Molitor said. "Nothing seems to slow him down. He looks like he's been here a long time the way he takes his at-bats."

The only player to reach 10 homers with the franchise faster than Sano was current hitting coach Tom Brunansky, who needed just 35 games to hit his 10th homer after being called up by the Twins on May 13, 1982.
