May, Meyer roughed up as Twins fall to Brewers 10-4

Twins righthander Trevor May didn't last the first inning Friday night in Milwaukee, retiring only one of nine Brewers batters in part because of his own throwing error.

MILWAUKEE – Alex Meyer has embraced his new role as a reliever but was pitching in the first inning on Friday.

It wasn’t a return to the starting rotation, it was in relief of Trevor May, who was bulldozed for six runs in the first inning.

What a way to start a major league career, barely settling into your new uniform when the bell rings.
