Minnesota Twins prospect, Max Kepler, has been named the Southern League MVP. Kepler, the Twins number six overall prospect led the Southern League in batting average, slugging percentage and on-base percentage.
The Chattanooga Lookouts outfielder hit .327, with 73 runs, 32 doubles, 12 triples, nine home runs and swiped 18 bases. He has a smooth swing and hits the ball over the park.
The German native had breakout season in Double-A. He seems to be ahead of the curve and could make his big league debut at some point this month when the Lookouts season comes to an end.
