Lynn solid again as Twins snap 4-game skid

KANSAS CITY -- Lance Lynn pitched his way out of several jams to turn in a second straight strong outing, while Miguel Sano smacked a two-run homer and Brian Dozier provided a go-ahead RBI single in the sixth to carry the Twins to an 8-5 win over the Royals on Monday night at Kauffman Stadium. It snapped a four-game losing streak for Minnesota.

Lynn, who threw 6 2/3 scoreless innings against the Tigers in his last start, backed up his solid showing by allowing two runs on six hits and three walks with five strikeouts in six innings.
