The Minnesota Twins will have two prospects playing in this year’s All-Star Futures game that will be played July 12 in Cincinnati. A pair of Double-A Chattanooga Lookouts will represent the Twins. Jose Berrios and Max Kepler are both top 15 prospects for the Twins.
Starting pitcher, Berrios is the Twins number four-rated prospect. The Puerto Rican flamethrower started in last year’s Futures Game at Target Field. He pitched a scoreless inning in front of large crowd.
Berrios is tied for the Southern League lead in strikeouts with 86.
