Minnesota music lovers will get a chance to see Billy Joel this summer. The legendary musician will perform at Target Field on July 28, marking his first concert in an outdoor Minnesota stadium.
The "Piano Man" singer and seller of 150 million records will visit Minnesota as part of a multi-city tour that includes stops at several other Major League ballparks. Joel is also scheduled to perform at Atlanta's SunTrust Park in April, Cleveland's Progressive Field in July, Chicago's Wrigley Field and Boston's Fenway Park in August, and Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park in September.
"The Target Field concert experience has proven to be among the best in the region and we are thrilled to welcome Billy Joel, one of the most respected and endearing global recording artists in history," said Twins executive vice president and chief business officer Laura Day.
