Yesterday the Minnesota Twins put outfielder, Oswaldo Arcia on the 15-day disabled list. Arcia suffered a hip strain during Sunday’s game against the Chicago White Sox.
Taking his place in the outfield will be, Eddie Rosario. According to MLB.com, Rosario is the Twins ninth ranked prospect.
Last season Rosario was suspended 50 games last season after drug abuse. Through 23 games at Triple-A, Rosario was hitting .242 with three home runs and 12 RBIs.
Why Rosario over fellow prospect, Aaron Hicks? Hicks is hitting, 289 with a pair of home runs, five doubles and three triples.
